About MILC

Taking place on Saturday, March 9th (the day after International Women's Day!), the first-ever Midwest Intergenerational Lesbian Conference (MILC) represents a chance for lesbians of all ages and backgrounds to come together, discuss issues relevant to our community, and share our stories in comfortable small-group environments. Our mission is to foster communication in order to bridge the generational divide within the lesbian community, helping us all to find empowerment, wisdom, and solidarity in the continuity & resilience of lesbian culture.

The event is free and open to lesbians of all ages. Our maximum capacity is only 150 participants, so advance registration is required. Each person must register separately. Lunch will be served. Carpooling or an overnight stay with a host is possible.

It is our firm belief that this conference should be accessible to all lesbians, so please do inform us of any and all accessibility-related concerns (or concerns of any variety!), we are more than happy to help. ASL translators are available upon request.
